Death korps of krieg - The start

Hey, long time since last time i was active here.( hehehe….)
Well time for a update on what i am doing. I have acquired some death korps of krieg miniatures from a friend.

What i got:

1 - Hq squad
1 - Command squad
2 - Firing squads
1 - Advancing squad
1 - Grenadier centaur
3 - Lasgun teams
3 - Heavy bolters teams

I’m quite happy with what i got and to the price i got them for, most of them was not assembled and those who where, was a brees to fix. The Hq squad was assembled and primed, so no problem there. The rest was in bags, only 1 of the troops squads was assembled, but no problem there either. So i have put together 2 troops, the Hq squad i just fixed a bit.

I primed them and started painting the squads

I decided i wanted to have the german autumn camo from WWII (it’s not going to be any SS or Nazi army, i just like the camo scheme).

I got inspired from looking at the DakkaDakka where i found out that someone else had done it with death korps of krieg, and that it looked really good.

Here are the firing squad and the advancing squad almost done, they just need some tocuh, they also need some dead yellow grass and leafs, after that they are finished.

At the moment now i am painting my command squad, want some more training before i tackle the Hq squad.

I have used vallejo air grey primer, and baneblade brown as the first basecoat.

Here are the bases i made for them. I have used Citadel sand and the citadel 40k baseing kit to make them. They are primed with vallejo grey primer.

Next post vill be a painting tutorial of how i paint them. Looking forward to that.
(Edit: had to reupload the images because my image hosting site stoped hosting for free...)
